About Michael

Malibu’s Michael Milesi is pursuing a prestigious career in motorsport. He has not stopped developing his talent since his earliest days on the track. Having started karting in 2013 in the Jim Hall Karting Series, his dream continues into 2021 as he graduates from college and sets his sights on racing full-time.

 

Born May 12th 1998, Michael’s love of racing started from an early age watching various championships such as Formula 1, IndyCar, and Le Mans. The California native finally got his chance to race in 2013, in the Jim Hall Sodi Kart Series. Over the next three seasons, he would win the championship back to back.

 

In order to continue to rise up through the karting ranks, Michael funded his career by working after school which allowed him to step up to the KPV class, where he won the Jim Hall Sprint Kart Championship. The following year he raised the bar by winning the regional F100 Karting Championship. The following year he gained experience in cars and continued to compete in kart races. In 2018, Michael was one of the top 10 winners in the Champion Auto Parts Search for a Champion contest. This sponsorship allowed him to take part in his first car races where he competed in the Southern California National Auto Sport Spec Miata class. In 2019 Michael joined the Phil Giebler Karting Team and competed in various races over the course of the year while starting his time at a 4-year university.

 

Michael is working with the former Commercial Director for the Benetton and Lola Formula 1 teams while putting together bespoke marketing plans for his partners.

He is also the creator and host of Hot Laps, a show in development which gives various public figures a crash course into the world of racing at the BMW Performance Center.
